Welcome

We don’t like to brag but…

We are an award winning real ale pub serving freshly made pizza and a great selection of main dishes 7 days a week! Housed in one of Stamford’s oldest, most interesting buildings dating back to the 13th century, this lovingly restored pub has a quirky yet traditional feel and is certainly one not to be missed.

Our Pub

Our Pub

Dating back to 1280, the building was once owned by the Tobie Norris family who were bell founders and they made their smaller bells right here. It is now a unique and enchanting pub offering delicious food using locally sourced ingredients, our renowned range of real ales and a great selection of wines.

The Famous Tobie Pizza

Inspired by traditional, authentic Italian produce and ingredients the cooking of the pizza in our specialist ovens ensures they are nice and crisp and therefore much lighter than the more traditional pizzas found in most restaurants. Created with freshly prepared pizza dough, choose your own toppings to create a pizza unique to you and pair it with your perfect pint or glass of wine.
